USB 2.0 Extender over Ethernet/IP Network Hub - Up to 330ft (100m)

The USB 2.0 Extender over Ethernet, also known as the USB2G4LEXT2, allows for data transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps. This device enables users to connect up to four USB devices using existing Gigabit Ethernet LAN switch(s) or IP network hardware. Alternatively, the transmitter and receiver can be connected directly over CAT5e/CAT6 RJ45 cables, spanning distances of up to 330ft/100m.

This USB extender serves as a 4-port USB hub at a remote location, providing convenient access to devices such as printers, cameras, plotters, keyboards/mice, displays, and CCTV systems. The durable construction of the extender, made from extruded aluminum, ensures longevity in high wear and tear industrial environments. Additionally, mounting brackets are included for easy installation. LEDs are present to monitor power, activity status, and link/host connectivity.

The active USB extender kit includes a power adapter for the remote extension receiver, allowing each of the four USB ports to provide up to 5V/600mA of power. The local extender (transmitter) is USB host bus powered, simplifying the setup process.

This plug-and-play extender requires no drivers for installation and is compatible with major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. It is also backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices, ensuring versatility in a variety of usage scenarios.
